Historic Yates Mill

See a working mill up close and turn a nature outing into a trip through local history.

The plan

Visit the mill during Saturday and Sunday open houses, 1–4pm, from March through November. Admission is free; donations support the mill. Corn-grinding demonstrations are postponed until further notice. Outdoor tours can be canceled for weather, so call 919-856-6675 before traveling.

Before you go

The park opens at 8am and closes at sunset, except major holidays. Pets are not allowed; service animals are welcome.
