Sankai Juku brings the Japanese butoh work TOTEM: Void and Height to Chapel Hill.
The plan
Sankai Juku brings the Japanese butoh work TOTEM: Void and Height to Chapel Hill. Deliberate movement, sculptural groupings and carefully shaped light create a visual dance experience that rewards patient attention rather than following a conventional plot.
Tickets and campus arrival
Book the performance through Carolina Performing Arts. The advertised $11 student offer has eligibility and identification rules; it is not the general ticket price. Memorial Hall is on UNC’s campus, so check the official parking directions before setting out.
Before you go
Choose the exact session before buying; some productions have more than one performance in a day.
