An all-Mozart evening with pianist Evren Ozel and Carlos Miguel Prieto.
The plan
Evren Ozel joins the North Carolina Symphony for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 25, with Carlos Miguel Prieto conducting. The program also includes Symphony No. 35, Haffner, and Symphony No. 39. Staying with one composer gives you time to hear connections between the piano writing and the orchestra’s own conversations.
Make the most of it
Both Raleigh performances begin at 8pm, with the free Concert Insights introduction at 7pm. The talk lasts about 30 minutes. Consider making it part of the outing if you are new to Mozart or simply enjoy a little context before hearing a complete concert program.
